Description:

Spilanthes originates from South America and grows in wet, damp places in temperate climates. It is a member of the Asteraceae family and has been traditionally used for the external treatment of fungal skin infections.

How it works:

Research has confirmed the antifungal activity of Spilanthes, especially against the Trichophyton species of fungi responsible for athlete’s foot infections. Its precise mechansim of action has not yet been elucidated
